Ieri, 31 ianuarie ’19, Muzeul Național de Istorie a Transilvaniei, a avut onoarea să primească vizita unui înalt oficial european. Este vorba despre Tibor Navracsics, Comisarul European pentru Educație, Cultură, Tineret și Sport. În timpul petrecut la muzeu, domnul Comisar a fost ghidat prin spațiile noastre expoziționale și a discutat despre programele și proiectele celei mai reprezentative instituții de acest fel din Cluj.
De asemenea, oaspeții au audiat o scurtă prezentare pe tema Frontierelor Imperiului Roman de pe teritoriul României, a Programului Național „Limes” și a procesului de înscriere a siturilor din cadrul acestui ansamblu de monumente pe Lista Patrimoniului Mondial UNESCO, oferită de George Cupcea, Directorul adjunct al instituției. Domnul Comisar a fost impresionat de acest proiect, de implicațiile sale la nivel european, și ne-a asigurat de sprijinul său în desăvârșirea lui.
Dumnealui a mărturisit că vizita la muzeu a fost interesantă și că vă păstra amintiri plăcute din timpul petrecut de la Cluj.

Yesterday (31.01.2019), The National Museum for the History of Transylvania had the honour to receive the visit of a high European official, Mr. Tibor Navracsics, the European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport. In the time he spent in the museum, the Commissioner was guided through our exhibition rooms, and discussed the programmes and projects of the most representative such institution in Cluj.
Moreover, the guests were given a short lecture on the theme of the Roman Frontiers in Romania, the National Programme „Limes” and on the progress of the enlistment process of the sites composing the monument, on the UNESCO World Heritage List, by George Cupcea, the deputy director. The Commissioner was impressed by the project, its European implications and values, and pledged his support in its completion.
He was satisfied with his visit at our museum and argued that he will hold pleasant memories from his time spent in Cluj.
